Moving out to Region Six where there were three far flung sites going. First let’s catch you up on the Del Monte Kennel Club show in Carmel CA.

CH Smokycity Silhouette Dbl Ur Pleasure

We gave you a complete report on Saturday’s show, but here’s Sunday’s action. Joan Sutton was the lucky judge who got to go to Carmel for a BIS assignment. Frosting on the cake was the chance to see the Weimaraner, CH Smokycity Silhouette Dbl Ur Pleasure, the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, CH Soletrader Donald Duck, the Alaskan Malamute, CH Catanya's Latin Lover, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Perrisblu Paris, the Brussels Griffon, CH Cashin' Walk The Line, the American Eskimo Dog, CH Smokey Mtn Trader Pup, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Avalons Frontier Sleepnlady Webber. Her BIS was the Weimaraner, Wrigley. It was her second BIS this year.

CH Mojo's Rock'n Your World

Further north in Shelkton WA the Nisqually Kennel Club hosted a two day fete. On Saturday it was Mary Ellen Compagnon taking the helm and reviewing the Flat-Coated Retriever, CH Feathurquest Moonlight Sonata, the Saluki, CH Carmas Indian Summer, the Akita, CH Mojo's Rock'n Your World, the Border Terrier, CH Jen-Lar Secret Warrior Of Marlyn, the Silky Terrier, CH Bar-B's Tawnymist Topias, the Miniature Poodle, CH Poof’s Divalicious, and the Belgian Tervuren, CH Sky Acres Flying Solo.

BIS was the country’s number one Akita, Coupe. Coupe hs been on a roll lately picking up three BIS in the last month.

CH Doubloon's Ultimate Player

On Sunday, the Saliuki, Akita and Tervuren would be back to see Jeffrey Pepper. His remaining finalists were the Irish Water Spaniel, CH Stanegate Supertramp, the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, CH Doubloon's Ultimate Player, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Creekside Just For Keeps, and the Bulldog, CH Legacy Empress Of The Copa. His BIS went to the Saluki. Congratulations to breeder/owner Lyndell Ackerman, co-breeder M. Stoner-Townsend and handler Don Rogers.
