Keuka Lake near Romulus New YorkWe have 34 AKC all breed dog shows in the US this week. The Northeast Region will be the busiest with nine shows offered. The Lewiston-Auburn Kennel Club will host two shows in Topsham ME Saturday & Sunday, while the Onondaga Kennel Association and the Kanadasaga, Finger Lakes, & Elmira Kennel Clubs will run Thursday through Sunday in Romulus NY. Downstate on Long Island the Brookhaven & Suffolk County Kennel Clubs will team with the Westbury Kennel Association to stage three shows in Oyster Bay NY.

The Southeast Region will also have shows in three locations. The Warrenton Kennel Club will hold their two shows in Millwood VA before the Old Dominion Kennel Club Of Northern Virginia. sets up on Sunday. Floridians can enjoy the two shows in Deland FL offered by the West Volusia Kennel Club and here in East Tennessee we will have the Greater Murfreesboro Kennel Club setting up shop in Murfreesboro TN Saturday & Sunday.

If you live in the heartland, you will have to travel a ways for a show. You can choose from Monroe MI (the Monroe Kennel Club), Freeport IL (the Rockford-Freeport Illinois Kennel Club), Hot Springs National Park AR (the Hot Springs National Park Kennel Club), Lubbock, TX (Heart Of The Plains Kennel Club ), and Grand Junction, CO (Grand Valley Kennel Club), all with Saturday/Sunday shows.
Kaneohe Hawaii
For those on the West Coast try the Richland Kennel Club (Kennewick WA), the Bonanza Kennel Club Of Carson City (NV), or the Burbank Kennel Club (Van Nuys CA). Finally if you are in Paradise and are tired of the beach try the Windward Hawaiian Dog Fanciers Association in Kaneohe HI on the island of Oahu.
We are entering the last quarter of the year and time is running out to see many of the dogs we have followed all year. Look for an AKC dog show near you.
