ARTFUL WINS

There is an art to campaigning dogs at the national level. One such example is handler Alvin “Beep” Lee who after winning BIS with his Akita, CH Mojo’s Rock’n Your World, in Helena MT on Friday, moved the entourage 650 miles west to Shelton WA for Saturday’s Gig Harbor Kennel Club show.

CH Highwood’s Big Shot

Two of Beep’s charges were in Zell Von Pohlman’s final, the abovementioned Akita, Coupe, and the French Bulldog, CH Highwood’s Big Shot. Their five companions were the Irish Water Spaniel, CH Poole’s Ide Got Water, the Black & Tan Coonhound, CH Silver Ridge Showtyme At Windbourne, the American Stafordshire Terrier, CH Fraja Ne Gold Ticket, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Full Of Malarkey Miles Of Aisles, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Whidbeys Moonlight Frost RA.

Best In Show would go to Beep’s Frenchie, Willie. It was just last week that Willie and Beep won the first all breed BIS by a French Bulldog this year. Now they have two. Nicely done.

  1. In all fairness...it was Beep's lovely wife, Shari, who handled Willie to the BIS in Shelton!
