BELATED BIS/BISS

Before we get to far into this weekend, we need to tell you about a couple of BIS that we have yet to report.

CH Bo-Bett Hallmark Break Dance

The first is from this past Saturday’s Tri Star Kennel Club, of Williamson County in Nashville TN. AKC has failed to report any result, the superintendent is waiting for the right phase of the moon to publish the results, and apparently no one on the show committee reads us.

We did hear from an exhibitor that James Noe’s BIS was the Whippet, CH Bo-Bett Hallmark Break Dance, It‘s Breaker’s second all breed BIS this year. Our congratulations to breeder/owner Carol A Harris, co-breeder Jill Couture and handler Justin Smithey. If anyone wants to tell us who any of the other final seven were on Saturday or Sunday, we would be happy to give them a mention.

CH Caamora All Dolled Up PT

Our second belated mention goes out to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America’s National Specialty earlier this month in Fort Mitchell KY. English breeder/judge Mary Winsone’s BISS was CH Caamora All Dolled Up PT. Hedy is the first of her breed with a herding title to win the breed’s national specialty. She was bred and is owned by Pat Seifert & Vicki Kirsher and is handled by Shannon Stone. Our congratulations to team Hedley, uh, we mean Hedy.

  1. This is a marvelous accomplishment for Hedy and her connections! Congratulations!

Here is a thought - IF, as they say, shows are to select and showcase breeding stock, shouldn't appropriate working titles be an expected addition? It would go much farther to promote proper temperaments, workability and menatl and physical soundness!

We would have dogs that demonstrate at least a minimum ability to do a job and not just moving art forms!
