FIVE DAYS IN YORK PA

CH Smash Jp Moon Walk

This past weekend’s show represent a major milestone in our dog show year. We have several dogs emerge as national contenders and a basic reset for the year’s rankings. Let’s catch you up. There were five shows in the bucolic berg of York PA. We gave you results on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s events. Last year’s number one Toy dog, the Toy Poodle, CH Smash Jp Moon Walk, took advantage of the five close to home shows to remind everyone he was still a contender in 2010. Walker & handler Kaz Hosaka took all five Toy Groups and the BIS on Thursday, Friday, & Sunday.

Friday it was Martin Dogerty calling Best for the York Kennel Club, choosing Walker over the English Springer Spaniel, CH Cerise Tender Is The Night, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Nashira’s Ciro Of Anjari JC, the Bernese Mountatin Dog, CH Adesa‘s The Heat Is On, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Bluebeard’s Suddenly Bridey the Miniature Poodle, CH Dassin Hillwood Dierks Bentley, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Wyndstar’s Honorable Mention. Saturday, New Zealander John Stanton. considered the Irish Setter, CH Courtwood Always Bailey, the Bloodhound, CH Legends Nutrageous Hamlet, the Great Pyrenees, CH Rivergroves Coco Mademoiselle, the abovementioned Kerry Blue, the Standard Poodle, CH Jaset's Satisfaction, and the Bearded Collie, CH Brigadoon's Sweet Talk. He chose the Poodle, London, who now has five all breed Bests this year.

Sunday, another New Zealander, Yvonne Smith, graced the final ring with Walker, the previously mentioned Irish Setter, the 15” Beagle, CH Torquay’s Midnight Confession, the Boxer, CH Hi-Tech's Southern Belle, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Foxlorr Double Dare, the Standard Poodle, London, and the Pyrenean Shepherd, CH Germinale De La Brise RN
