NEWNAN KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Bandheim’s Captain Crunch

William Cunningham had the day one final for the Newnan Kennel Club in their Georgia hometown on Saturday.  His seven hopefuls were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Pharaoh Hound, DC Siphra’s No Remorse, the Siberian Husky, CH Indigo’s Isaac, the Skye Terrier, CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Ayrwen Star Kissed Delight, the Bichon Frise, CH Gemstone She Is A Belle Of The Ball, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Bandheim’s Captain Crunch.

BIS went to the Mexican import, the GSD, Capi.  Capi has missed only a few finals since his arrival in the US earlier this year.  He now has five BIS and so many Group Ones we’ve lost count.

GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare

On Sunday Jane Forsyth had the day two duty and five of the Saturday finalists and the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare & the Dalmatian, GCH CH Bret D Gabriels Lost Art.  She chose the eye catching MinPin, Classie.  DOG2WATCH Classie is another dog that rarely misses a final, collecting 16 Toy Group Ones so far this year.  We could be wrong, but we think that is more than any other Toy Dog.  Surprisingly, this is her first BIS this year.  Congratulations to breeder Carole Ann Mohr-Rio, owner/handler Armando Angelbello, and owner Leah Monte.
