The second Texas club that brought us shows this weekend was the Big Spring Kennel Club who gave us two this weekend in their hometown, 300 miles west of Dallas.  The big news in Big Spring is the Havanese, GCH CH D'Vas Spellbound In Motion, who grabbed both the BIS this weekend.

On Saturday GraDee was challenged by the Vizsla, GCH CH Regal Point Pinnacle Of Kilauea, the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Jodells Boogie Back To Texas Of MNM, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Shalimars Golden Ticket, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Itsy Bitsy Troubadour , the Finnish Spitz, GCH CH Pikkinokka Badgr Sir Barksalot, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Rainey Creeks Roll The Dicem before catching Edd Bivin’s eye.

Sunday Toddie Clark had four of  Saturday’s finalists and the Neapolitan Mastiff, CH Bruno Dellla Vecchia Roma, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Solana Big Lebowski, & the Old English Sheepdog, CH To-Jo Rhapsody In Blue Denim.

Six year old GraDee is no stranger to the BIS ring.  He’s made finals since 2008.  However, we believe these are his first all breed BIS.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Deeanna Hinkle & Breanna Ehlers, co-owner Suzanne Johnston., and handler Luis Calderon.

  1. Go GraDee!! I have been watching this boy since he was a brand new puppy. He definitely deserved these wins and I hope the judges recognize his quality and that they were start of many more to come! Congratulations Dee, Bre, Suzanne and Luis!
