His Best for the day was the previous day’s winner, the Black Cocker Spaniel, Beckham.  And, no, you are not confused.  Beckham spent Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday in Fort Wayne before motoring down to Knoxville to pick up the BIS Sunday.

Saturday Beckham was in the hunt again with Anne Katona in for the Marion Kennel Club.  The remaining six finalists were the abovementioned Afghan, Irish Terrier, & Bichon, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Spicerack She's All That RN, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Austin Powers, and the Briard, GCH CH Deja Vu Mia Chain Of Fools.

Her choice was the four year old Briard.  This guy was a regular in finals in 2009 & 2010, but this is his first final of 2011 and his first career BIS. Congratulations to breeders Terry Miller, Amie Melton, & K & V Fox and owners Joe & Marsha Holava.
