In our Monday Morning Mop Up we have the fall out from the dramatic show down between our Top Two Dogs All Breeds, the cancellation of one show amidst frightening thunder storms, and the BIS debut by a promising dog.  We start with that promising debut in Marshall MI by the Boxer, GCH CH Draco Greets Dassin With FourBears.  Margee and handler  Kimberly Pastella-Calvacca left the four days with two BIS, a Group One, & a Group Three.

The only final that Margee did not make was James White’s  at Thursday’s Jaxon Kennel Club’s day one show.  The seven he did see were the Gordon Setter, GCH CH. Sastya’s Eleven Eleven, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Hundelben Queen’s Armada SL,  Great Pyrenees, GCH CH Beren’s Hope Of Thorn Hill, the Russell Terrier. CH Goldsand’s Columbus, the Smooth Chihuahua, South Folk’s Sweet Harmony, the Keeshond, Jo-Lyn’s Ferrari, the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Gambolon Blue Thunder.

Reserve went to the Dachshund, Cheese, and the Best In Show went to the OES, Elvis.  Elvis is the country’s Number One Old English Sheepdog, and the Number Four Herding Dog with two BIS and an admirable 31 Herding Groups.

GCH CH Oncore Mykyna Storm

Margee would pick up her first all breed BIS at Friday’s Jaxon Kennel Club show under Mary Anne Brocious.  Joining her were the RBIS, the Pointer, GCH CH Oncore Mykyna Storm, the Tree Walking Coonhound, GCH CH Alexanders Gold Rush Xcetera, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Sn’T’s Secret Weapon, the Pug, CH Hill Country’s Tag I’m It, the Xoloitzcuintli. CH Decoman Avanos, and the OES, Elvis.

GCH CH KJ’s Its Nothing Purrsonal

Saturday Margee would return to see Carol Kniebush Noe along with the Clumber Spaniel, CH Don’s Big Bang, the aforementioned Coonhound, the Scottish Terrier, Rose’s Wild Wind Heavenscent, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Bells Will be Ringing, the Keeshond, GCH CH KJ’s Its Nothing Purrsonal, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Quiche’s Grand Finale.

Her RBIS at the Sturgis Kennel Club show would be the Shih Tzu, Willie, while Best would go to the nation’s Number One Keeshond, Chubbs.  Our congratulations to Chubbs and breeder/owner/handler Kristen Dowd on their first BIS this year.

CH Goldsand’s Columbus

Margee and Kim would wrap it up on Sunday with Carl Yochum at the Berrien Kennel Club show.  Rounding out the final were the Clumber Spaniel, Moonrysn’s That Girl, the Dachshund, Cheese, the Russell Terrier, CH Goldsand’s Columbus, the Shih Tzu, Willie, the Keeshond, CH Daimier’s Louis XIII De Remy Martin, and the above named Bouvier.

The only Russell Terrier to win a BIS was RBIS.  But back to the debutante, Margee.  These are the first BISs for Margee.  Congratulations to Kim, breeder Larry Dosier, and owners  Dr William & Mrs Zoila Truesdale, Joseph Vergnetti, Jorge Pinzon, & Wendell Sammett.  With a team like that we bet we will see many more BIS by this one.
