We start our Monday Morning Mop Up with an update on the race for Number One Dog all Breeds.  Both of our Top Two spent time in California this weekend.  The Number One Dog, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, was in Pleasanton CA on Thursday & Friday, in Springfield IL on Saturday,  and then back in Pleasanton yesterday, collecting one BIS, two additional Group Ones and a Group Two, for an estimated 2200 points.

The Number Two Dog, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, was in Pleasanton on Thursday, but spent Friday, Saturday, & Sunday in Atlanta GA.  His take so far has been One BIS and two additional Group Ones worth about 2000 points.    Peyton’s BIS came in Atlanta at yesterday’s Newnan Kennel Club show.

Peyton’s 49th BIS leaves him about 1300 points behind the GWP, Oakley.  Both dogs are entered at today’s Del Valle Dog Club of Livermore show in Pleasanton.  BIS will be worth….ready...drum roll….about 1300 points.
