The country’s Number One Dog All Breeds is no longer in Arcadia FL, but Jacqueline Rayner had plenty of talent in her final at today’s Greater Venice Florida Dog Club show.  They were the Brittany, GCH CH Credit Where Credit Is Due, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Criston’s Enchanted, the Great Dane, CH FendaneSylcrests Eb Oro Puro, the Miniature Bull Terrier, CH Evolution Runs With Scissors, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Miniature Poodle, CH Karadale Clarion Born This Way, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Copperidge’s Sugar n Spice.

The top two dogs today were the RBIS, the Mini Bull, and the BIS, the Afghan, Rachel.  We had the opportunity to see this beauty up close at Hatboro and we are happy that she is starting to get noticed.  Rachel and handlers Marcelo Veras & Larry Cornelius have two BIS this year and 20 Hound groups this year.  Both of the BIS have come in the last three weeks.

Friday Peyton would impress Charlotte McGowan more than the RBIS, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Fields Bahama Sands, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Caryola's Antigua, the aforementioned Mini Bull, Simon, the Pug, CH Brazos River Nee-Hi Back For More, the above name Bulldog, or the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Mariel’s Harvest Moon.

Peyton’s 47th & 48th BIS of the year should be good enough to regain the Number One Dog position ahead of the weekend.  We will wait until Monday to see if he holds it.
