INGHAM COUNTY KENNEL CLUB 1

Thursday he was in Savannah GA.  Yesterday he was in Yuma AZ.  Today he was in East Lansing MI picking up the BIS at today’s Ingham County Kennel Club show.  He is the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, and he is the Number Two Dogs All Breeds.

Challenging Peyton for Beverly Vics’ favor were the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Oxford Victim of Love, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, the Smooth Fox Terrier, J’Cobe Broxden Danea, the Yorkshire Terrier, GCH CH Stratford’s Diamond Jim, the Reserve winner, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH  Glenleigh Gang's 'N Roses, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Quiche’s Grand Finale.

Today’s BIS, Peyton’s 61st of the year is the biggest of the weekend at an estimated 1300 dogs present and competing and will put Peyton within 1500 points of the Number One Dog.

New England fanciers joined the fray today in Fitchburg MAS where the Worcester Kennel Club is hosting two shows.  The seven hoping to impress judge Sulie Greendale-Paveza were the Pointer, GCH CH Marjetta in the Limelight JH, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Cane Corso, GCH CH Liberty’s Armed and Dangerous, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me A Spot, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Roddells Hello Gorgeous, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Hillwood Dassin Rock On By, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Collinswood One In A Million NA NAJ.

The two who did impress were the Foxhound, Jewel, and the Cane Corso, finishing one/two.  Jewel is the nation’s Number One Hound and Number Nine Dog All Breeds with 31 BIS this year….on a Foxhound…really…pretty impressive.

It’s day three in Savannah GA and day two for the Beaufort Kennel Club and final one for judge Keke Kahn.  The seven hopefuls today were the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Buck Stops Here JH, the Wirehaired Dachshund, GCH CH Del Prado’s Bar Code, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Just Kidding V Sole Baye, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Bret D Gabriel’s Lost Art CD RE, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Dalarno Nite Song at Morningstar.

Her RBIS was the PWD, Matisse, and her BIS was the Schnauzer, Justin.  Justin is the country’s Number One Miniature Schnauzer, and Number Four Terrier with 11 BIS this year.

Our first report today comes in from Davie FL where the South Dade Kennel Club opened a two day set.  Dr Ronald Spritzer had the day one final and the Brittany, GCH CH Credit Where Credit is Due, the Harrier, GCH CH Tally Ho The Time of My Life, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Ivoss Sonny’s Angels, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, GCH CH Lonsdale Sir Joseph Porter, the Toy Manchester Terrier, GCH CH Rustic Lane Still Waters Run Deep, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Spotted Bliss Oreo Delight, and Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Equinox The Edge of Reason RE.

His Best was the Aussie, Cliff, and his Reserve was the Harrier, Bobby.  The three year old Aussie dog has only been on the campaign trail since mid-October, but has placed in the Herding Group seven out of seven appearances and now is one for two in the final ring.  Congratulations to breeders Dr Heather Steyn & Joyce Siddall, owner Courtney Bell, and handler David Stout.

Back in Savannah GA the Beaufort Kennel Club put John Cole in the final ring with German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Buck Stops Here JH, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Whirlaways Ida Belle's A Ringing, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression De Matisse, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, the Tibetan Spaniel, GCH CH Kan Sing’s Tenzin, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch.

It was the GWP, Truman, taking home the BIS and the PWD, Matisse, picking up the RBIS.  Truman now has 17 BIS this year, seven in the last month.
