We have results from Louisville KY and the Mid-Kentucky Kennel Club’s opener for one of the biggest weeks of the season, the Kentuckiana Cluster.

Edd Bivin’s final seven were mostly familiar faces, the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Dogwdcreek's La Vita E Belle, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni, Vidi, Vici, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, the Maltese, GCH CH Scylla’s Small Kraft Re-Lit, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Gunther’s Gussied Up Edna, and the Belgian Tervuren, Hillside Special and Hamazing.

His BIS was the country’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the Wire, Sky, and his RBIS was GSP, Bella.  Sky took last weekend off while handler Gabriel Rangel piloted her kennel mate, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Iron Van Foliny Home, to a Terrier Group Reserve win at Crufts.   Even so, this win, her tenth of the year, is worth around 1750 points and will put her around 10,000 points ahead of the field.

  1. A Lakeland terrier won runner up in the terrier group, not a welsh.
