TARHEEL CLUSTER DAY ONE



GCH CH Coventry Allure at Wyndstar

Our show week go underway today in Raleigh NC with the Cary Kennel Club’s opener for the Tarheel Cluster, a remarkable show of canine cooperation among five separate clubs.

Today’s final fell to Dr Klaus Anselm who chose his top two from a powerhouse seven, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, the 15” Beagle, CH Tashtins Lookin for Trouble, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse, the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket To Ride, the Pug, GCH CH Hill Country Tag I’m It, the French Bulldog, CH LeBull’s El Morroco at LeCirque, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure at Wyndstar.

Taking home the week’s first points was the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Allie.  Getting the Reserve was the GWP, Oakley.  Allie has been the country’s  Number One Pembroke these past two years finishing 2012 with six BIS and 45 Herding groups.  Today, however, was her first BIS in 11 final appearances this year Congratulations to breeder/owner Bill Shelton, co-breeders Kerry Kirtley, S Leyerly and B Williams, owner Alex Geremia, and handler Jenny Wornall Rangel.
