BIG POINTS IN NEW CASTLE

GCH CH Caper’s Sirius Endeavor

The largest numbers over the Memorial Day weekend were in New Castle PA where a total of 6,275 points were up for grabs.   We have already told you that the first two days went to the Pug, GCH CH Hill Country Tag I’m It, and the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Shine’s Deck the Halls.

Saturday’s New Castle Kennel Club final was called by Clay Coady.  The seven hoping to collect the 1,561 points for BIS were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Sentinel, the Bloodhound, Flessner’s International S’cess, the Boxer, GCH  CH Lazy K's Dulce De Leche, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH True Blue Madonna, the Pug, GCH CH Caper’s Sirius Endeavor, the aforementioned Shar-Pei, Tinsel, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Impact Pop Rocks.

Judge Coady’s BIS was the Pug, Rufus, and his RBIS, was the Kerry, Pink.  The win puts Rufus in a virtual tie with for Number One Pug and Number Two Toy Dog.

Sunday Rufus would be back to try his luck with judge Don Evans.  He was joined by the Irish Setter, GCH CH Northwoods First Reign, the Black & Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Bayaway Jersey’s Due Process of Law, the St Bernard, GCH CH Gliden’s Lady Isabella, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Class Act by Hallsblu, the Bulldog, GCH CH Cherokee Legend Cowboy, and the Shetland Sheepdog, CH Starphire Olietta.

Judge Evans would like the Kerry, Jack, as his Best and the Bulldog, Cowboy, as his Reserve.  It’s the first BIS in eight final appearances this year for Jack and Handler George Wright.  Congratulations to George, breeder Samuel Moffett, and owner William Berry.

The hometown New Castle Kennel Club had the closer and they asked Raymond V Filburn Jr to take a look at the Curly-Coated Retriever, GCH CH Down Datrail Hunting Thrills CD, the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Bridgehill’s Mr. Mason s Misbehavin’, the Akita, GCH CH CR Wicca’s Trade Secret, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH True Blue Madonna, the Pug, GCH CH Hill Country Tag I’m It, the Shar-Pei, Tinsel, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Jesstar Nirvana.

Taking the BIS was the Sheltie, Noah, leaving the RBIS for the Akita, Trader, Noah now has two all breed Bests and 11 Herding groups.
