PLAIN STATES FOUR



GCH CH Posey Canyon No Brainer!

This morning we are visiting two Great Plains states for the results on four shows.  The Seward County Kennel Club was in that Nebraska town April 27th & 28th for their two shows.  Saturday’s final featured the Irish Setter, GCH CH Antares Bobby Jones, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Oxford Victim of Love, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Parson Russell Terrier, GCH CH Posey Canyon No Brainer!, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Northern Star at Shirmont, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Vaje’s Jethrene Bodine, and the Rough Collie, Tapestry Dashing Dark’N Silver.

Annella Cooper’s top two were the Parson Russell, Einstein, and the Kuvasz, Tanner.  It’s the first for the five year old Parson.  Congratulations to Jennifer Johnston and owners Russ & Tricia Stanczyk.

Sunday Paula Hartinger would see five of the prior day’s finalists and the King Charles & Ruby English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH LTO Prosperity, and the Border Collie, Tang Dynasty Rocky.  Hear BIS was the Kuvasz and her RBIS was the Irish Setter.  Tanner is the top winning Kuvasz of all time.  This win was his second of the year.

Last weekend it was Topeka KS hosting the Sunflower Kennel Club of Olathe.  Day one ended with judge Michele Billings mulling over the Vizsla, GCH CH Regal Point Pinnacle Of Kilauea JH, the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Vinla's LA Ink, the Portuguese Water Dog, CH Driftwoods You Ain’t Seen Nothin Yet, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, GCH CH Cumhill Hell Raiser, the aforementioned Toy Spaniel, the Boston terrier, GCH CH Kennedy's Wild Traveling Man, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH Kingsbury Tail Ridge Road.

She chose the Toy Spaniel, Prosperity, as her Best and gave the Reserve to the Staffy Bull, Ollie.  Prosperity and handler Jeff Wright have logged six BIS this year, five in the last 60 days..

Ollie and the Vizsla, Mason would be the only two of Saturday’s finalists to return on Sunday to see BIS judge Carmen Battaglia.  Joining them were the Wirehaired Dachshund,  CH Raydachs Ruby Tuesday SW, the Mastiff, GCH CH Jadem’s Oliver Twist, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Xela's Party Hat, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Tramac Just Watchme Shine, and the Rough Collie, St Roch's Moonlight Serenade.

Judge Battaglia liked the two returning dogs, giving Ollie the BIS and Mason the RBIS.  Ollie is the only Staffordshire Bull Terrier to win a BIS this year.  Congratulations to breeder Martin Fitzpatrick, owners  Zane & Shannon Smith, and handler Paul D Catterson.
