The YKC had Friday’s opener and they asked judge Burton Yamada to choose his top two from the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Sandpiper’s Let Freedom Ring, the Borzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Alisaton Blackbird V Allure Beaulane, the Wire Fox, Sky, the Havanese, GCH CH Bellatak Vallee’s Maximum Dream, the Standard Poodle, CH Litilann’s Lights Camera Action, and the Canaan Dog, GCH CH Pleasant Hill Magnum Of Samara.

Sky continues her relentless march to the end of the year, picking up her 81st BIS in 136 final appearances this year.  Reserve went to the Havanese, the latest collaboration between breeder/owner Kathy Patrick and handler David Murray.    Sky leads all dogs with over 100,000 dogs defeated this year, but trails the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, by four BIS.  Counting today, there are but 14 days with all breed shows left this year.
