While much of the focus today is on the start of the giant
Rose City Classic in Portland OR and the continuing Florida Marathon, Great
Lakes fanciers are gathered in Novi MI for the point rich Michigan Winter Dog
Classic. The Livonia Kennel Club hosted
day one and put judge Loraine Boutwell in the final ring with the Black Cocker
Spaniel, CH Ashdown’s Time to Thrill, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creeks
Double Or Nothing For Heather, the St Bernard, GCH CH Glidden's Lady Isabella, the
Russell Terrier, GCH CH Goldsands Columbus, the Shih Tzu, CH Hallmark Jolei
Rocket Power, the Bichon Frise, CH Cher Ami's Toast With Remy Martin, and the Bouvier
des Flandres, GCH CH Stonepillar's Steel Blu.
Collecting all those points was the Russell Terrier, Bosse while
the Bichon, Remy, picked up the Reserve win and the photo op. It’s the second BIS of the year for the
Number Two Terrier of 2013.
