Our first report from this week comes in from Kalamazoo MI where the Pontiac Kennel Club, opened a five day set known as the Western Michigan Apple Blossom Cluster, one of those rare demonstrations of multi-club cooperation. The PKC, the Holland Michigan Kennel Club, the Grand Rapids Kennel Club, the Kalamazoo Kennel Club, and the Greater Muskegon Kennel Club host the event which we were fortunate enough to attend two years ago. This year’s cluster drew many of our top dogs, including the Number One Dog All Breeds, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse.

Her BIS was the Chihuahua, Sonnito. Her RBIS was the Skye, Charlie. It was heady win for the Number Three Toy Dog, who now has 12 BIS and 22 Toy Groups to his credit.
