MOTORING THROUGH WYOMING

GCH CH Peace River’s Gathers No Moss at Sunstra

We normally are critics of the split venue weekend. However, when traveling from show site to show site involves the spectacular landscapes of Wyoming, we are more forgiving.

GCH CH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome

When last we visited Casper WY, we told you that the nation’s Number Four Dog, the Brittany, GCH CH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome, topped judge Pat Hasting’s seven finalists at Friday’s Central Wyoming Kennel Club show.

Beckett would return to the final ring at Saturday’s CWKC encore along with the Harrier, GCH CH Pacific Happytail's Heartbreaker, the Alaskan Malamute, GCH CH Peace River’s Gathers No Moss at Sunstra, the Border Terrier, GCH CH McHill’s HRH Prince Gizmo House of Gremlin, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Miletree Wendy McKenzie, the Keeshond, GCH CH Twin Trees Shoot For The Moon, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Thunderhill’s Apple Bottom Jeans. Finishing one/two were the Malamute, Mick, and Beckett, the Brittany.

It was the first BIS for Mick . Congratulations to breeder/owner Michele Coburn , owners Thea Robinson, Alisa Syar, & Kyle Robinson, and handler Martin Glover.

GCH CH Dunkirk Imagine That

Exhibitors motored the 150 miles down to Laramie WY for Sunday’s Laramie Kennel Club show. BIS judge Pat Trotter would see Beckett, the Borzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, the Malamute, Mick, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Royalist Sno Knight O Kuhlbreeze RN, the Pekingese, GCH CH Dunkirk Imagine That, the Chow Chow, GCH CH Pendleton Riley O’Cannon, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Von Zecher’s Broken Arrow.

Beckett would once again be RBIS behind the Peke, Tommy, who got the BIS. It was Tommy’s second BIS of the year in six trips to the final ring.
