RARE BEDLINGTON BIS IN WASHINGTON

A second split venue opportunity are the Spokane Kennel Club and Coeur D'Alene Dog Fanciers shows in those Washington and Idaho cities.  The SKC had the Saturday and Sunday and put judge Jack Ireland in the final ring on day one.  The seven dogs seeking his favor were the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Clussexx Over The Legal Limit, the Whippet, CH Bo-Bett Tivio Man of Steel, the Bullmastiff, GCH CH Banstock N Highpoint New Day Bruin At Kimo, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Pineriver’s Show Me The Money, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Hilltop's GQ Cover Boy, the Finnish Spitz, GCH CH DV9K9′s Alaskan Winter Wilderness, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH PaRay Preferential.

Best was the Griff, Giorgio, and Reserve the Bedlington, Cruise.  It was the third BIS in six final attempts for Giorgio and his second in the last week.

GCH CH Clussexx Over The Legal Limit

On Sunday BIS judge Linda Scanlon would see the same Clumber, the Black & Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Southchase’s Wilbert Roy, the Doberman Pinscher, Eclipse’s Let’s Roll, Cruise the Bedlington, the Papillon,  CH LaRen Royal Heir Jareaux, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Newtnine Crown Of Queen, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH Allegro Southern Charm.

Judge Scanlon would name the Bedlington, Cruise, her Best and the Clumber, Hobson, her Reserve.    It was the first for Cruise and the first by a Bedlington since December of 2011.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Sharon Holden & Joyce Berk, co-breeder Carol Dawson, and handler Kevin J Chestnut.  We hope to have a photo fro you soon.
