THREE DAYS IN NEW CASTLE

GCH CH CR-Wicca’s Trade Secret 

 Last time we checked in on New Castle PA we told you that the Whippet, GCH CH Karasar’s Masterpiece, was Rita Bells’ BIS at Friday’s Trumbull County Kennel Club.

The hometown New Castle Kennel Club took the favored Saturday spot and asked judge Nathaniel Horn to choose his top two from the Irish Setter, GCH CH Stoneypoint’s Time to Reign, the aforementioned Whippet, Juliet, the Akita, GCH CH CR-Wicca’s Trade Secret, the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket To Ride, the Pug, GCH CH Country Hill's Tag I'm It, the Miniature Poodle, CH Tulip Gardens Double Trouble, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Devinwood A Perfect Stranger. 

Finishing one/two were the Akita, Trader, and the Whippet, Juliet. Trader is the country’s Number Two Working Dog with seven BIS and 22 Working Groups. 

 GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Rocket Power 

At Sunday’s Trumbull County Kennel Club encore BIS judge would see the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Cerise Celtic Thunder, the Norwegian Elkhound, CH Somerri Dunharrow’s Dynamo, the Siberian Husky, Davik’s Snowstorm Gussit, the Colored Bull Terrier, Action Spark Of The Divine CA CGC , the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Rocket Power, the Standard Poodle, CH Ale Kai Hillwood Moonbeam Magic, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Collinswood Sparks Fly.

Going to the front of the line were the Shih Tzu and the Poodle. It was the second BIS in 15 final appearances for the country’s Number One Shih Tzu and Number Five Toy Dog. 

GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket To Ride 

The hometown NCKC would close the five day set with judge John Ronald in the final ring. Staying to the very end were the previously see Irish Setter, Norfolk, & Australian Shepherd, the Treeing Walker Coonhound, CH Cherry Creek Confetti, the Bernese Mountain Dog, CH Blackrock Jungle Juice RN, the Papillon, GCH CH Fenice Le Beaudreaux, and the Dalmatian, CH Planett’s Star Reporter. 

GCH CH Collinswood Sparks Fly 

Packing home the last big rosette was the Norfolk Terrier, Rider. Staying for the Reserve photo op was the Aussie, Ember. Rider is this year’s Number Five Terrier with Two BIS and 13 Terrier Groups.
