SEMINOLE KENNEL CLUB

Judge Alfred Ferruggiaro was in Shawnee OK on Saturday to call the Best In Show at the Seminole Kennel Club’s opener. The seven dogs in his lineup were the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Dickens Wilkins Flasher, the Wirehaired Dachshund, GCH CH Raydachs Ride My Ducati Sw, the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, GCH CH Derby's Toast With Gusto, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Springhill Street Smart, the Yorkshire Terrier, GCH CH Journey's Who Am I ?, the Schipperke, CH Safari Bolteroy Prince of Tides, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Picabo Moondaisy of Pineywood Jakmar. 

Going to the head of the line was the Dachshund followed by the English Cocker. It was the first BIS in 16 final appearances this year for Ducati, AKC’s Number One Wirehaired Dachshund. Congratulations to breeder/owner Shirley Ray, co-breeder Neal Glaser, and handler Adam Peterson.

Sunday judge Dr Arthur Sorkin would see the same English Cocker, Greater Swiss, & Schipperke, the Saluki, GCH CH Baghdad Eleganza Extravaganza, the Cesky Terrier, GCH CH Zlatapraha Gillespie Bluefire, the Maltese, GCH CH Ta-Jon’s Sugar Dumplin, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Arrowhill Swords Held High. 


CH Safari Bolteroy Prince of Tides 

He would chose the Greater Swiss, Gus, as his BIS and the Schipperke, Ty. Gus is the nation’s Number One Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and Number 11 Working Dog with six BIS and 26 Working Groups in 2014.
