GCH CH Promenade Pay It Forward

We have two more show reports from last weekend for you.  First from Petaluma CA where the Redwood Empire Kennel Club hosted two shows, we can tell you that the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade Pay It Forward, was judge Ronal Rella’s BIS on Saturday.

Also seeking judge Rella’s favor were the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH M&M's Fear The Beard, his RBIS, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Skansen's Leather & Lace Of Twilight, the Irish Terrier, GCH CH Rockledge Mccallen Of Meath, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Kulana's Sh-Boom, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Fulla Bull Soulja Boy, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Asgard's Kierkegaard.  Gideon is the nation’s Number Three Sporting Dog with 12 BIS this year.

Sunday judge Jacqueline Quiros-Kubat would see a mostly new seven, the Labrador Retriever, GCH CH Big Skys Augustus JH, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Fields Shameless, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Patriot's Designer Girl CGC, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Hjohoo's Save Hjour Love For Me, the Pug, GCH CH Winsome-Nirvana-Blaque Triple Play, the above named Frenchie, and the GCH CH Bon Idee's London Calling.  She would choose the Whippet, Brazen, as her BIS, and the Lab, Augustus, as her RBIS.  The win was the tenth of 2014 for the country’s Number Two Hound.

Up in the Pacific Northwest fanciers gathered in Brownsville OR for the Eugene Kennel Club’s weekend shows.  Saturday judge Gene Blake’s lineup included the Vizsla, GCH CH Jaybren's Irish Star, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Bakari's Lor Vitra Caymus CA CGC, the Akita, GCH CH Mojo's Continuation Of A Myth, the Bedlington Terrier, GCH CH Pineriver's Show Me The Money, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Marja-Tu Chu’s Solar Flare, the Standard Poodle, CH Njoy Diamond In The Making, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Wind Spirit Rod's Amazing Grace.

Finishing one/two were the Akita, Nik, and the Aussie, Grace.  It was the sixth BIS of the year for Nik and handler Beep Lee

GCH CH Windy Hill God Of Fire RN JH CGC

On Sunday, BIS judge Paula Hartinger would consider the Flat-Coated Retriever, GCH CH Windy Hill God Of Fire RN JH CGC, the Whippet, GCH CH Princeton's Falling In Love At Starline, the Tibetan Mastiff, GCH CH Drakyi Dreamland New Moon At Dreamcatcher, the aforementioned Bedlington, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Hilltop's GQ Cover Boy, the American Eskimo Dog, GCH CH Sierra's Hallmark, and the Norwegian Buhund, GCH CH Jotunn Bella Binna.

BIS went to the Flat Coat, Kasey, and the RBIS went to the Griff, Giorgio.  It was the third BIS for Kasey this year.

DES MOINES KENNEL CLUB

Before we give you this week's results we find we still owe you some results from last week.  In Des Moines IA, the hometown Kennel Club hosted two shows.  Saturday’s final featured judge Joe Walton in the ring with the Parti-Colored Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Monthaven's The Birdcage, the Otterhound, GCH CH Aberdeen’s Under the Influence, the Great Dane, GCH CH Graycn Lost Creek The Descendant of Elan, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH Dunham Lake Scout Master, the Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH Loujon Thornwood Little Jacob, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Newtnine Crown Of Queen, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Kosmar Striking Back Of Bridgelady.

Going to the head of the line were the Toy Spaniel, Jacob, followed by the Bichon, Queenie.  It was the first of the season for Jacob.  Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler Karen Miller, and breeder/owner Jamie Ward.

Sunday Jacob, Queenie, and the above named Cocker & Great Dane would all be back to try their luck with BIS judge Janet Turnage-Nahikian.  Joining them were the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Stardust N Windrose Magestic Blaze Of Glory Sl, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, GCH CH Cumhill Hell Raiser, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH PaRay Preferential.  The Sheltie, Satoshi, would take the BIS and Jacob would pick up an RBIS to go with his earlier BIS.  It was the fifth BIS of 2014 for Satoshi.

CLEMONT COUNTY KENNEL CLUB

Owensville OH was the site of the Clermont County Kennel Club’s two shows this past weekend.  Saturday’s final saw the Weimaraner, GCH CH Silhouette's All Revved Up, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Celtic Lore’s Moonlight And Magic CGC, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Kenro’s Time Is Money, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Garcini & Rangel's Rock N Rolla, the Papillon, CH Domino’s High Priority, the Bulldog,  GCH CH Mousers Royal Regent, and the Briar, GCH CH Déjà vu Elephant in the Room, seeking judge Jack Ireland’s approval.

The two that succeeded were the Ridgeback, Luna, and the Weimaraner, Rod.  It was the first BIS of the year for Luna and handler Frank Murphy.  Congratulations to Frank and breeder/owner Dawn A Garbett.

Sunday judge Ken Buxton would see the English Setter, GCH CH Stargaze'R 'N Wingfield Wait Wait Don'T Tell, the Saluki, GCH CH Appalachia's Allamyrra Hajji, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Highlander's Rumour Has It, the same Wire Fox, the Toy Manchester Terrier, GCH CH Cottage Lake's Our Lady Of Fatima, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Bret D N Troika N Engine Co Timeless Keepsake, and the Belgian Sheepdog, GCH CH Sarron Simply Complicated CGC.

He would name the Setter, Teller, his Best and the Belgian Sheepdog, Jackson, his Reserve.  Teller is the nation’s Number One English Setter, the Number Two Sporting Dog, and the Number Six Dog All Breeds with 12 BIS this year.

GCH CH Albridens The Show Must Go On

We don’t get to report a BIS by a Chesapeake Bay Retriever often.  So when we get to tell you that a Chessie scored back2back BIS, we are delighted.  That’s just what GCH CH Albridens The Show Must Go On did this weekend in Wilmot WI where he topped both of the Kenosha Kennel Club’s two shows.

On Saturday Aries was judge Sam Houston Macdonald’s top dog.  Challenging Aries for the win were the Basenji, GCH CH Laurel SSimply Shocking Sabrina, the Great Pyrenees, GCH CH Rivergroves Sky's The Limit, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, CH Mslf Polaris Most Bright, the Papillon, GCH CH Wingssong Singular Sensation, the Lhasa Apso, CH Shoyu Blowin My Horn At Orlane, and the RBIS, the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Margaux’s Va Voom.

Sunday Aries would best the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Elmo’s Martian Chronicles, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Nightline Viking A Tanglewood, the RBIS, the Irish Terrier, GCH CH Sharob's Commander In Chief, the above named Papillon, the Keeshond, GCH CH Trumpet's You Could Be Mine, and the Puli, GCH CH Szeder’s Little Miss Sunshine, in judge Sandra Anderson’s final.

Aries is the nation’s Number One Chesapeake Bay Retriever with four BIS this year.

GCH CH Hitimes What The Inferno

The country’s Number One Toy Dog, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Hitimes What The Inferno, spent the weekend in Roswell NM, admittedly a town better known for little green men than little red dogs.  However, Danny and handler Curtiss Smith, mad the most of the stop, taking both the top prizes offered by the Rio Pecos Kennel Club.

On Saturday Danny was judge Lynn Peterson’s BIS and the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, GCH CH Derby's Toast With Gusto, was her RBIS.  Rounding out the say one finalists were the Pointer, GCH CH Solivia's Decadence Of Beagood, the Longhaired Dachshund, Lekoll Bobbi Sharm Iskrenne Vash, the Cairn Terrier, Kinloch’s Million Dollar Baby, the Miniature Poodle, CH Krystal Hi Meet Me At Midnite, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Blu Chip’s Serendipity.

On Sunday judge Lesley Hiltz would say ditto choosing Danny and Gus as her top two, while the Irish Setter, GCH CH  Courtwood Whirly Girl, the Whippet, Cloud Nine Double Mctwist 1260, the same Cairn, the Tibetan Spaniel, GCH CH Primah Moment In Time, and the Puli, GCH CH Hamzabegi-Cimboram Buzavirag, looked on.

Danny is AKC’s Number Nine Dog All Breeds with 13 BIS this year.
